At Little Feet we want our gardens to reflect our values.
We want to help you create beautiful, resilient outdoor spaces that will withstand the changing climate and become low maintenance sanctuaries for you, your family, and all the other creatures that thrive in healthy, biodiverse gardens.
We want to leave a positive mark on this Earth, and we believe that respectful, holistic gardening practices are the way forward.
We offer both design consultations and design plus installation (soft landscaping only). Our consultations begin with a site visit and discussion of what you are looking for and how we can help.
If you are just a bit unsure about what to do with your outdoor space and would like some guidance, this may be the way to go. We will make a site visit, discuss with you any thoughts or ideas for your garden (what it will be used for, how you would like it to feel, who will be using the space), and then we will create a bespoke plant list and planting guide for you. We will send you the initial plan and once you have had a look over it we offer one revision based on your feedback. We offer design consultation at a flat fee of $595.
If you would like us to design and install your garden, we begin with a design consultation as above and then once you are happy with our design we will go ahead and plant it out for you. If there is any hard landscaping you would like undertaken, we will organise this for you using trusted local landscaping companies. For design and consultation we charge the flat consultation fee, and then our hourly rate for installation.

Our plant suggestions and recommendations are generally for native plants and drought tolerant perennials.
We love it when a client requests we remove a front (or unused) lawn and create a habitat garden in its place- and in fact this is often one of our suggestions for areas of the garden that are currently not being used.
While we are happy to maintain an existing lawn, we generally do not recommend planting new lawns and will probably point you in the direction of a gardener specialising in lawns.
